It’s been said that the moment after I was officially married – the moment after we said our vows and had our first kiss – that my entire body language changed.  Apparently, my shoulders relaxed…my breathing deepened…my face brightened.  Apparently, I was glad that the hard part was over!!

People’s reactions to the moment they get married is so unique…so different…so beautiful to watch.  And yet so often, it’s also very unpredictable.  You laugh when you think you’d cry…you lack the words when the silence needs to be broken…you’re overwhelmed in the simplest of moments.  It tends to be what happens when love takes over!

I can’t speak for Megan and Darren in regards to how they expected to react on their wedding day…but I can say – for myself – that I’ve never seen a couple more excited to start their life together!  From their first look…to their first kiss…to their first dance.  Every single moment was marked with enthusiasm that just couldn’t be contained.  With smiles…with tears…with overwhelming anticipation at the adventure that lie before them.

And when this happens to a couple who also happens to have two of the brightest and most contagious smiles you’ll ever see…it made for a truly intoxicating day of pure happiness.

It was – without a doubt – absolutely impossible not to get swept away in all of it!
