As they stood in the backyard – surrounded by family and friends – the wind blew effortlessly around them.  The leaves fell gently to the ground.  The sweet smell of summer, not yet turned to fall, wrapped us all in its comforting arms.

After a week of cold and rain, the sun shone brightly upon them.  Boldly, warmly, majestically.  Showing its great approval for the union happening below.

It was almost as though magic had been cast upon every moment of the day.  Upon every smile…every kiss…every glance at each other from across the room.

But the truth is that the magic started a long before this day…

It started when two people met each other at work one day.  It started when two people became friends.  It started when one fateful evening, an elevator door closed behind them [BING!] and left the world behind too.  It started when two people fell in love.  It started when two traveled the world together.  It started when two people joined their families together as one.

The true magic that is Chantal and Charles didn’t happen when they said their vows…exchanged rings…or said ‘I Do’.

It started on the day when two people who were always meant to be together…were finally and wonderfully brought together…
