When I was growing up, Anne of Green Gables was my absolute favourite movie ever!  I watched it over and over and over again until I could seriously recite that entire movie…word for word {and it’s a long one!}.  I just loved the setting, the beautiful, poofy dresses and of course, the romance.  But I’m not going to lie though…that movie ultimately made me a bit afraid of girls with red hair!  Anne was feisty, had a bit of a temper {to say the least!} and after watching her enough times, I was convinced that Anne Shirley was not a girl that I wanted to run into in a dark alley!

As it turns out, destiny hasn’t brought a whole lot of red heads into my life thus far however…the ones that are in my life also happen to be some of my most favourite ladies in the entire world!  They’re gorgeous, they’re brilliant and they have a unique radiance about them that makes heads turn every where they go!!!  I truly can’t get enough of these incredible women but even now, after all this time, I’m still convinced that the certain “je ne sais quoi” that they possess, is a direct result of their hair colour!  It’s as though the genetic makeup that pigmented their hair also permeated their personality to create this fiery sense of confidence and beauty that is completely incomparable.  I know that it’s a rather weak theory at best but nonetheless, I’m sure that it’s a red-headed thing!!

Well, after three years in the business of photography, I’m pleased to say that I’ve got my very first red-headed bride on the roster and believe me, she suits her red hair {and her handsome fiance!} just perfectly!  As we were roaming the woods and joking about my childhood fear of red-heads, the amazingly charming Jeff stepped into the conversation to tell his beautiful wife to be all of the ways in which she most certainly did justice to her luscious locks!  And that, my friends, is what true love is all about…seeing the very best of yourself reflected in someone else!

It also happens to make this camera happy girl pretty darn excited to have one of the funnest couples ever to call her own…red hair and all!
