So, for a good chunk of time while I was in high school, I had this huge crush on a guy that I worked with!  He was funny, rebellious, had deep, dark eyes and was crazy good looking!  He was, in the nutshell, just my kind of guy!!!  We also happened to spend a great deal of time working side by side for hours on end!  Poor me…whatever is a girl to do?!?!

Here’s the thing though…I thought that he was so cute and charming that I proceeded to spend close to two years hardly ever saying a word to him!!!  “It makes me look mysterious”, I would tell my friends {who constantly hassled me to start up a conversation with him…at the very least to find out if he had a girlfriend!}.  But really, it had nothing to do with being “mysterious” and everything to do with not wanting him to see the blubbering idiot that would become of me as I tried to be my usual witty self around him!!  It’s a great approach…you should try it sometime!  Especially if you want the guy that you like to wonder if you even have teeth and ultimately start dating another girl at work instead of you!!!

And then there is Tracy and Craig!  They also met at work…but Tracy actually spoke to Craig…which led to them dating…which led to them getting engaged…and pretty soon – not too long from now – they’ll be getting married!!  How’s that for reeling in the man of your dreams?!?!  And all because they took that extra leap of faith in their working relationship to have a {wait for it…} conversation!!!!  What a concept!

So ladies, have a cute guy at work that you can’t quite get enough of?  Well take my advice; listen to Tracy…not me!!!!
