I wish that – in this life – we all followed love.  I wish that we all sought after it with reckless abandon and chased it down as though our life depended on it.  Because, if we’re being totally honest, it actually does.

The thing about love is that it’s a risk.  It’s a free fall down through the most intense of human experiences and the reality is that there is no guarantees.  Once you step foot down that rabbit hole, there is no holding back.   At least not in love’s truest form.

And this is why a lot of people don’t do it.  This is why it’s easier for so many to think about it…to analyze it…to ask opinions about it.  Because somehow, it gives us the illusion of a safety net.  We go through our list of pros and cons in hopes that the numbers will all work out and give us the assurance we are looking for.

But that isn’t love.  That’s reason.  That’s logic.  That’s playing it safe in a world that feels dangerous enough as it is.

Sometimes I think we forget that all of life is really a gamble and that, ultimately, love is the biggest reward…the biggest payout…the biggest thing worth gambling for in the first place.

And you know what?  Some people are just better at seeing the prize than others.  Some people know exactly where they are putting all of their chips and they simply don’t hold back.  Because life is too short…love is too great…and having a life filled with love is the best any of us can ever hope for.

I can’t even begin to tell you my adoration for Meaghan and Marc.  I just can’t.  Their story is beautiful…and passionate…and inspiring in every way imaginable.  They are the best of kind of risk takers and truest kind of romantics.

They are seekers…they are chasers…they are happy ending believers…
