For the record, if I ever send you an email that asks “how adventurous are you?”…then you should officially consider yourself warned!!!

Barb and Jesse were looking for something specific for their engagement.  Something rustic…something deep in the woods…something uniquely them.  So, given how gorgeous our new neighborhood is…I thought I’d ask if “adventurous” was also them!!!

Turns out, they didn’t even flinch!!  Their immediate response was…”very”!  So, right away, I knew we’d get along just fine!!

And it’s not that our location was overly remote or treacherous.  But the snow had literally just melted [about a day or two sooner] and our terrain was muddy…and deep…and full of completely unknown obstacles.

But we went for it.  We found ourselves knee deep in thorns…covered in burrs…and headed down a ravine – holding hands – in hopes of not tumbling to the bottom!

In short, it was fantastic.  Barb and Jesse are fantastic.  And their upcoming wedding is going to seem like a breeze in comparison to what we put ourselves through for this session!!
