I stood off in the distance a bit while everyone seated themselves for the ceremony.  Alex stood up front…his groomsmen alongside him.  Friends and family happily bustled around as they greeted one another, and for a while, you almost forgot that we were all waiting for something spectacular to happen.

As I tucked myself back behind the trees…Alex patiently waiting for the moment to begin…he looked up at me from across the yard – the biggest of smiles spreading across his face – and he whispered “I’m so excited!”

And that right there, sums up everything I know to be true about Morgane and Alex…

They were so excited!

They were so excited about their wedding day…so excited about starting their life together…so excited about their love for each other.

And the reality is that the world needs more of them.  The world needs more excitement…more joy…more people who believe in love.

Because believing in love isn’t about a wedding…or flowers…or a pretty dress.  Believing in love is about all of the days that come after.  It’s about the excitement and the tears…it’s about endurance and stamina…it’s about witnessing someone’s life, as well as walking it with them.

Believing in love is something to be excited about.

Morgane and Alex…I adore you.  From the depths of my soul and from here to the moon.  I adore your authenticity…your chemistry…and the way that you fit perfectly in each other’s arms.  I adore your smiles and your tears…your singing and your dancing…and I adore being stuck in the middle of your secret surprises for each other!  I adore the long talks we’ve had and the goals we’ve shared.  And I adore the friendship we’ve created.

But most of all…I love your excitement.

For the life that you’ve lived…the life that you have…and the life that you’re creating…
