I remember the first blog post that I ever wrote; it was only three paragraphs long and it took me nearly two hours to write.  The words and desire came easily…but I just couldn’t bring it together the way I wanted to…the way I needed to.

I sat there at my computer screen struggling to make sense of it.   Fighting with myself to bring life to what I needed to put out into the world.  And it took forever.  And I was exhausted when all was said and done.

Furthermore, I was frustrated and discouraged.  I was afraid that it was always going to be like that.

Nearly eight years later though, I ended up learning one of the most amazing lessons…

I learned that all things beautiful…all things meaningful…all things worth bringing into the world…are worth the struggle.

They are worth the agony…they are worth the exhaustion…and most of all, they are worth the wait…
