I am an only child.

My husband is not.

So, when I married him and became a Smyth, I also became the youngest of eight “siblings”.  It was an adjustment, to say the least.

Becoming a part of a new family is always a big step for any couple.  Those first few family gatherings can be a lot to take in and depending on the size, may even require excel spreadsheets to keep everyone straight!

But nonetheless, it’s a beautiful thing.  Large families are amazing…extended families are a blessing…and starting a family of your own is – hands down – one of the greatest adventures you can ever embark on.

This year, we all get to go home to celebrate the wedding of one of our own!  Our beautiful Lindsay has fallen in love and this summer, Darren will become one of us!!

Weddings are always an occasion worth celebrating…but getting to photograph the wedding of a family member is extra fun…especially when they are pure magic in front of my camera!!
