ANGIE & DEHRIG: ENGAGEMENT

I don’t imagine that it’s easy to plan a wedding in another country.  I can’t fathom the number of unknowns that come into play when you’re trying to put something together blindly.

We planned our wedding from the same city and even then, there were times when it all felt a bit too overwhelming.  Too many details to consider…too many expectations to manage…too many elements to juggle.  By the end, I was just ready to get the show on the road!

Through all of the people that I’ve met over the course of being a photographer, I’ve learned one thing for certain; it takes a very specific type of couple to handle long distance wedding planning!

It’s requires that type of couple who sees past the endless list of things to do.  A couple who is grounded in life enough to be remain unmoved by the countless unknowns.  A couple who is so excited about being married…that the logistics of a wedding become the second priority.

Angie and Dehrig are this couple!  While they deal with venues and photographers and travel details from afar…they just seem to carry this essence of calm and excitement about them.  This knowledge that – while their planning may be a bit more challenging – their outcome is just the same…

To marry the one they love!
