For as long as I can remember…I always thought that nothing could possibly be more romantic than falling in love abroad.  A strange land…a passionate love…a romantic tale.  It has always seemed so incredibly dreamy!  Like the perfect love story!

The problem was that I wasn’t much of a world traveler when I was younger.  I’m a home body by nature and that made meeting someone outside of my own area code a bit tricky!  Fortunately, the man of my dreams happened to live less than five kilometers from my house…but in turn, it also makes for a far less exotic story to tell!!!

That’s where my amazing clients come in!  They live out those stories…they share those stories…and luckily, they invite me along to document it every once and while!!

Alex left Canada to teach English in Taiwan.  Alex met Joy.  Alex fell in love with Joy.  Joy fell in love with Alex.  Alex returned home to Canada.  Joy came to visit Alex in Canada.  Joy moved to Canada to be with Alex.  Over the last few years they have traveled across oceans…they have learned new languages, and soon…they will become husband and wife!

They are the very makings of the beautiful story I’ve always adored!  And I can’t wait to be there with them next weekend when it all comes together as a the start of a whole new one.
