By mid-September of each year, I begin to eat, sleep and breathe weddings.  I dream about them at night…I photograph them on weekends…I edit them all day.  My life becomes a flurry of pretty dresses…coordinated colour schemes…and perfectly planned days.

And sometimes, in the midst of it all, I just need to step out of it and take a look around.

Rehana and Diogo aren’t one of my couples for the upcoming season.  In fact, they aren’t even getting married in the country.  They are kind of all over the places themselves right now and happened to stop for a moment so that I could photograph their engagement.

It turned out to be exact kind of break that I needed.  From my screen…from my office…from my regular chaotic autumn routine.

And just like that…I’m renewed!
