I’m not crazy about endings.

I love new beginnings and I love progress…but I tend to struggle most with endings.

I don’t like saying goodbye and I don’t like letting go…and the end of my wedding season is no exception.

But I do love the opportunity to look back.  I love the memories and I love the reflection.

And this year has been an incredible one; a year that has enabled me to loosen my grip a bit…because it’s been a year that has renewed my soul and inspired my soul.

It has been a year of setting boundaries for myself; creatively and personally.

It has been a year of digging deep and growing roots.

It has been a year of laughing and a year of crying.

And it’s been a year of truly remarkable people; people who have trusted me…believed in me…and welcomed me into their lives.

Lauren and Chris were two of those people.  Two people with hearts of gold and the most amazing smiles.  Two people with the best taste in wedding food and words so full of sentiment.  Two people who make both our lives and the world a much better place.

And two people who made the end of my season absolute perfection.

Here’s to another year gone by and the beautiful people that helped bring it to a close…
