It’s almost always one of the most sure fire ways to make me feel better – regardless of the day. There’s just something about it. Something wondrous. Something remarkable. Something spectacular.

Knowing that a child is coming into the world changes everything. Knowing that people you adore are about to become parents makes your heart soar. Knowing that, collectively, the world will become better because of them…is enough to make any day better than when it started.

Maternity sessions are a certain kind of special. It’s two people on the brink of something so life altering. And it’s gorgeous!

I’ve known these two amazing people for a while now and through so many milestones in their relationship. And even more than their engagement…even more than their wedding…even more than their pregnancy announcement…THIS, was my favourite.

Maybe it’s because I know what’s coming just around the corner. Maybe it’s because I can never get quite enough of them. Maybe it’s because there’s something stunning about floral crowns and winter light.

Or maybe it’s because I know the world is SO ready to meet their little munchkin…I know I definitely am!
