There was a stillness that started out the day.

The lace curtains gently blew back and forth as a light breeze came through the window.

A certain heaviness could be found in the air.

There was an extreme heat warning that swept over us on the day of Christine and Chad’s wedding. Some of the hottest temperatures ever recorded for your region. It was the front page of the paper and the headline of the news. All around, Mother Nature was the center of attention.

But not for us.

On this day, in this place, something more important was happening.

Tables were being set and flowers were being arranged.

People quietly moved about the property bringing together all the final details.

As though in its own natural rhythm, everything was falling into place.

The heat may have hit us hard that day…but it was a wedding that really took our breath away.
